Support the Chicago Public Library Foundation

Awst Press will match the next 12 purchases of Bronzeville at Night: 1949 by Vida Cross as a donation to the Chicago Public Library Foundation. When you order a copy, a separate copy will be forwarded to the Chicago Public Library Foundation listing you as the donor. This match ends 9/15/17 or after the 12 have been purchased.

Founded in 1986 by visionary civic leaders including Cindy Pritzker, J. Ira Harris and Marshall Field, the Chicago Public Library Foundation was created to support Chicago Public Library’s most innovative programs, its acquisition of technology, and the ongoing development and diversification of its collections. That dynamic idea – of a flexible and responsive institution, designed to partner with Chicago Public Library as it grows and evolves to support the changing needs of its patrons – remains in place today, as the Foundation continues its 30th year.
