Lit Crawl Against Humanity 2016

It's almost that time—writers playing the literary version of Cards Against Humanity. We're cohosting with our friends, Newfoundat Lewis Carnegie (1312 E. Cesar Chavez St.) at 9:30 pm tomorrow (11/5). Here's the FB event page

We'll have Francois Pointeau running the show and four (not) horrible people—otherwise known as authors—playing this party favorite. Come watch these word nerds being despicable and awkward or awkwardly trying not to be despicable. Hilarity will ensue!

Our author lineup includes Sarah Smarsh, John Jodzio, Jessica Luther, and Virginia Reeves. All of them are rock stars in their own way. Follow their links to find out more about them, but also come meet them in person.

We hope to see you there!

HeadStuff Interview with Donald Quist

I have never felt a sense of home anywhere. I have yet to encounter a physical location I feel tied to, a place where I feel a complete sense of belonging. I’m always looking for an exit, no matter where I go, always on guard, only more so in the United States. But I don’t feel that way on paper. When writing, I’m at home, I feel most safe to be myself. —Donald Quist
