Awst Press would like to proudly announce the winners of our first Book Prize, as well as all of our upcoming projects. Last year was spent winnowing down an impressive batch of submissions.

With the help of T Kira Madden, we are honored to name Edward M. Cohen’s collection of pre-liberation gay life, Before Stonewall, as our winner. Anne Ray’s collection, Scenic Overlook, is our second prize winner. Our runner-up winner is Marcelle Heath’s collection, Is That All There Is? We are also publishing the following semi-finalists: Brian Whalen, Andrew Yoon, and Mike Ingram. We will be saying more about each of these authors and their projects in the near future.

Additionally, we also have Donald Quist’s essay collection, To Those Bounded coming out next year. This will be Donald’s third book with us.
