LaToya is the last author in Amy Gentry's series and this wraps up our Features for 2015. As with all of Amy's authors, she's shown up with a great story. We'll start posting her previous work on the website tomorrow. On the 30th, we will post her interview with Liz Blood. Below is her BIO.
LaToya Watkins received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Dallas. Her stories have appeared in online and print publications, including Joyland Magazine, Kweli Journal, Ruminate Magazine, and Potomac Review. In 2015, she was awarded a Pushcart Prize for short fiction, and she has received fellowships from Kimbilio Fiction Center and Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. LaToya resides in Texas with her family.
