Hey, Chicago! We'll be in your fair city next weekend, June 9-11. Make plans to come see us.
On Friday night, we will be at 57th Street Books launching Vida Cross's debut poetry collection, Bronzeville at Night: 1949. The theme for the evening is "Jazz Poets in Conversation"—Vida will be discussing her work with Calvin Forbes followed by readings, book signing. For more information and directions, go here. Follow the RSVP link on that page to let the bookstore know you're attending. Books will be available for purchase at the store.
On Saturday and Sunday, we'll be at table #328 at the Printers Row Lit Fest. Vida will be available at the table parts of that time to autograph, discuss her book. We'll have all of our books available for purchase.
Both events are free and open to all ages. Make it a book weekend!
